WEDO was established on July 7, 2024, by a dedicated group of volunteers and professionals with thorough understanding of the society and associated challenges the newcomers face throughout the settlement journey.

Registered with the Incorporated Associations Authority of Victoria, Australia, under the Associations Incorporation Reform Act 2012, WE DO is a not-for-profit community organisation committed to supporting Afghan families living in Australia. At WEDO we are committed to create a structured and supportive community that addresses the unique challenges faced by our members, fosters cultural preservation, and promotes the overall well-being of women, children, and families.

WE DO aims to enhance social integration, provide awareness and information on educational and professional opportunities, and uphold Afghan cultural and religious values. Additionally, WE DO strive to ensure that Afghan members make meaningful contributions to Australian society by building awareness of Australian values, culture, and their roles within the community.
